urban angels

Urban angels is a FaceBook group operating in Glasgow & Edinburgh by placing their posters in places accessible to students such as on campus & accommodation. The posters are also inside the bathrooms of nightclubs as they aim to provide women with a number to call if they are spiked. The inclusion of a QR code on the posters makes them modern and allows information to be accessed more instantly; perfect if anyone is too drunk to type in a phone number. Not only does this organisation help women who have been spiked it also helps to prevent future spiking by telling us what to look out for and mapping which clubs spiking is taking place most frequently.
