a reflection
Throughout the Communication & Digital Content Creation module I feel as though I have learned a lot about different ways of uploading and sharing content online. I had never considered a blog as a form of sharing information. My first impressions of the module were that I would enjoy it but find some aspects such as making my own podcast a challenge, I was correct about enjoying the module but I found making the podcast to be easier than I anticipated. When i performed my pitch the fact that I am a strong public speaker was reinstated and this has given me the confidence I needed for my final presentation. In my comment on the class blog about my pitch I spoke about how reading off of my phone on the day instead of from my laptop became a setback as the text appeared differently and I didn't read it through as smoothly as I would have with practise. The feedback I received on my mock blog was to do with fixing spelling errors and after learning to thoroughly check over my blog and reread all my posts this was easily fixed. Through the Communication & Digital Content Creation module I have learned how to independently create and use my creativity to spread helpful information on a topic I and my peers are passionate about. In hindsight I wish i had used a website which allowed me to have more creative and aesthetic control but I did find Blogger to be the most straightforward and had good blog themes i found matched well to my topic but I guess if I had spent more time watching tutorials online I probably could have figured out how to do the same on WordPress.
